The Minister’s Program is designed first and foremost to deepen your conscious connection to your own Spiritual Self. The Church of Nature believes and lives that we are Nature and that Nature itself lives as true and pure Spirit. Through conscious awareness and conscious interactions with Nature we can better understand our own Spiritual Journey and as Ministers of The Church of Nature we can guide and support the journeys of those who seek our support.
In your process of becoming a Minister, in addition to continuing your own self-inquiry and self -growth you will move to a place where you are conscious and where you are observing those who come to you for support and guidance. During this program you will be exploring what it means to be a Minister, removing blocks, addressing the ego, understanding and learning how to teach and lead without taking on karmic debt, among other things.
Please review both the Living As Spirit Program as this is where you will start your journey, and especially review the Doctrine, Creed and Mission of The Church of Nature as you should feel connected to it deeply.
When are classes?
Almost of our class work will be done via on-line tele-conference and/or webinar. We may have weekend or week-long retreats (additional expenses will be entailed for room/board/travel) but if we do and you can’t attend, we will find a way to record and share the information.
You will need a good quality noise-canceling headset that plugs into your computer and an Unlimited Skype calling plan that allows you to call to the United States.
When Are Classes?
To start off with you will attend the Living As Spirit Program – this course will offer you the basic tools from which your Ministership will evolve. Classes are currently scheduled for Tuesday evenings at 8pm beginning October 27 and then Reading space will begin Wednesday December 2nd at 8pm and is a weekly space from there forward.
Additionally during Year 1 of the program you will begin to explore Historical and Literary resources that will deepen your growth and connection to and with Nature. You may have individual assignments or additional classes to explore, discuss and grow.
What Can I Do As A Minister of The Church of Nature?
Ministers in good standing (see requirements below) will be able to lead Sunday Service, before hands-on-healing, hear confession, offer Spiritual counsel and officiate ceremonies – weddings, funerals, baptisms, and coming of age, under the name of The Church of Nature. Ministers living outside of the State of New York must check with their own local and state laws to ensure they meet all requirements to legally perform such services.
What are the requirements to remain a Minister in Good Standing with The Church of Nature?
Ministers are required to pay an annual dues to The Church of Nature of $250. With these dues, Ministers receive membership in a private group that offers classes, a place to connect and ask questions and a place of support. Some services of the group may require additional fees.
Can I Open My Own Branch of The Church of Nature?
It is possible to open your own division of The Church of Nature. Ministers wishing to do this will be required to participate in additional training after becoming Ordained and once the division is established required to pay a fee annually to The Church of Nature. Part of this additional training will include the business side of running a church – your own personal taxes, tax-exempt status, setting up your Church etc.

What if I can’t or don’t want to finish?
We have set the program up like this (YR 1, YR2, YR3) because we know with any Spiritual Growth process, sometimes a little is enough and we don’t want you to be out of pocket for something you don’t complete. If you choose to stop talking the program, you will lose access to the course materials. If you pay for the year in full, there will be no refund if you choose to stop talking the program by or after mid-year. You may also choose to put your course on hold. We will pause your course and you can come back when you are ready, just let us know. Please note though you may be required to start over to dust off the cob-webs (at no extra charge.)
If you have questions about the program, please email us.
Who Should Participate?
Anyone who is interested in deepening their connection with Nature, of expanding their own consciousness and living life consciously and fully. We suggest that you be flexible and not a stickler for exactness, although many who have been have completed our programs with a result of tremendous growth. The nature of this work equates to shifts and changes, not only within ourselves, but within each program as students progress. We do not hold a ridged curriculum so that we can allow for growth, but always teach with the end goal of sharing the information we set out to share.
Is there a test at the end?
As we will be bestowing the title of Minister of The Church of Nature upon you, you will be required to demonstrate your ability to convey, teach and live the beliefs of our practice. Currently we plan to require a written thesis as well as a test. The test may be written, oral and/or practical in nature. Our goal will be to ensure that you embody the knowledge and tools to faithfully fulfill your role as a Minister of The Church of Nature.
What if I don’t finish the program in three years?
If you can’t complete the program within the three years (which includes all assigned course work and a mastery of the tools taught you within the program) you can extend your program for an additional yearly fee of $500.
So…Will You Answer The Call?
